Freedom Foundation), Free Thinkers Groups and the ACLU.
TO MEMBERS AND FRIENDS
Many people think the Thomas Jefferson Humanist society is an anti religious organization. This is far from the truth. As believers of our 1776 Founders we sincerely support the right of all citizens to believe in whatever religion they choose and gain comfort in their beliefs.
The citizens of this great nation are believers of many prestigious religions. We are Jews, Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Monastics, Agnostics, Deists, non believers and also "don't care-ers".
As Albert Einstein said while serving as a professor at California Institute of Technology, "I am a sincere non-believer which in a way is a form of religion".
In 1776 all nations in the Western World were ruled by religious leaders of some kind; Pope, God related Kings, Ayatollahs, or the disciples, descendents or followers of these entities. All citizens were controlled by religious theocracy dictates.
The brave highly educated 1776 Founders of America developed a new kind of "society control" and government.
Thanks to the brilliance of the United States of America's 1776 Founders all citizens have Freedom of and Freedom from Religious Beliefs.
No member of the Thomas Jefferson Humanist Society would ever support any movement or thoughts to deny any citizen the right to what ever beliefs they desire.
However there is one "enemy within" America the Thomas Jefferson Humanist Society was formed to contest. The "enemy within" is the political "Moral Majority" and right wing "Christian Crusade" whose leaders have been attempting to take down the Wall of Separation of State and Religion erected by our 1776 Founders.

TJHS GOAL; Through the marketing of Thomas Jefferson Memorabilia and in cooperation with the organization leaders of the above mentioned patriotic groups and organizations to provide income for the associations in addition to the donations they receive. Donations alone will not financially support organizations. The marketing of patriotic TJHS memorabilia is a proven money raising technique.
