The Thomas Jefferson Humanist Society supports the belief of many philosophers and medical professionals that all people need a period of time for relaxation, or to be involved in a joyous activity, enjoy the company of other people, relax and enjoy beautiful music and/or art at least one day of each week. Most organizations use Sunday of each week for this purpose.
